London Trip  Day -1 (the travel day) We started on Saturday afternoon from Panchkula. The train journey was nice and comfortable – did some settings on Instagram for Bambi and mostly just chatted. Then we met Aman Puri and his family. It was a short and sweet visit and nice seeing Aunty after such a long time. I do have some opinions about the family but what is so endearing is their love for Amit. Then we went to Zina/Bijoy/Shrey/Raga/Aslan’s place… everyone was eagerly waiting and it is always such a warm feeling being there… it was a bit uncomfortable as Zina and Bijoy gave us their room… Zina made Ragi dosas and it was the best dosas as per Amit. I also liked talking to Raga – she has so much to say to this world and love her spirit and her candidness. Really enjoyed being with them. Day 0 Got up early in the morning and had an Uber fiasco – where the driver kept looking for the house but couldn’t find it… and we got a bit late… Bambi was a bit nervous and I was also feeling...

Independence day...

yesterday, "chotti si asha" celebrated Independence Day at our old "adda" - rose garden...we got together and remembered the old days when we used to sit under the tree and study and listened to stories or played games. We also played our favourite game - "Dog in the bone". The kids simply adore this game and rarely miss out on the opportunity to play it when ever they get a chance. Jaspreet had joined us so we did a few minted of meditation also. There were some new people who had come to meet the "chotti si asha" gang...while the circle of introduction and sharing was going on, it was quite amazing to hear some of the kids talking very honestly about themselves and what they have learn't or have not been able to learn in this last one year. it was really heart warming to see that most of them recognized their shortcomings and had the realization that they lack focus and they get bored very easily.
